July 26

My last week. I dont know how I feel about that. I know that Im ready to work in the Lords work at home. The misión has taught me everything about Jesús Christ. The Atonement has changed me and will keep changing. My misión has been the best. I love Guatemala City Central Mission because here I learned who is my Savior and Im his friend. To Finish my misión we have a wedding this Saturday and the baptism of Marvin and Carla on Sunday. I think this is the best way to finish.

My work here in Guatemala is almost dude but Im enjoying the last days here. Im excited to come home and my bishop told me at my homecoming is on the 14th hope to see you guys there. I dont know the address of the Church.

Im so happy to know that my Testimony has grown so much in these two years. Im really love the mission and I will miss being a full time missionary but the good thing I will keep being a missionary. I love you all and I will see you guys next week. 

July 19

This week has been really great. We are preparing a wedding for next week and a family baptism. Yesterday I got to go see my área las Margaritas. I got to see members and my converts from there. I have learn that they are doing super well and that they were happy to see me. It brought good memories from Margaritas. I love the misión. On Sunday a member came up to me and told me. 'another week down, Elder Vega remember not much has changed at home but you will see the change in you because the only thing that has changed is you'. I can tell that these changes I had made has been the blessing of my life and Im happy that next week the 27th will be 3 years since I got baptized and 28th will be 3 years since I became a member of the true church! enjoy the pictures.

July 12

We had interviews with President but my companion had to go to the capital something going on with his visa and we missed the interviews but thats ok. This week was really fun. The Ward is working on a plan. A new way to work with the Converts and less active and Investagores. So we have been helping the Ward start going on the plan to read the book of Mormon with the Converts, Less actives, and Investagores. Thats getting us excited. We also found a family of 7. There how is huge because 35 people live in that house. We have not got the chances to speak to all of 35 just 7 of them. The Work here is growing. Today in the district meeting we spoke about the Faith.

How is your faith? What are you doing to grow your Faith? How are you acting upon your Faith?

Three single question that we need to answer and if we are not doing it well repent and act on our faith. We cant see miracles unless we are acting on our faith.

July 5

There was been some changes in the zone. My first son in the misión is my zone leader now!! That makes me happy to see Elder Trochez again!! This week are going to have another baptism of a part family member family!! ITs reallyl cool to finish the family. We also are preparing a family to get baptism. She left to bring her paper so we can marry them in the next couple of weeks. I will get to see another wedding before a finish the misión!!! The time flys by to fast but Im excited for tomorrow we have interview with President. That gets me pumped to Hear what President Markham has for us!! Love ya guys!!

June 7  

This week has been so fun!!! Time is going by to fast!!!! It needs to slow down a Little!!!

This week in the promisión. We have found a lot of new childrens of Heavenly Father to teach!!! Elder Bados  and I have been feeling the spirit really strong these last couple of days!! That a feeling!! He is a great companion!!!

The Atonement of Jesús Christ has changed my life. I know that the Atonement is real and it Works will all of us. When we do a change of heart, we feel closer to Heavenly Father thats because of Jesús Christ. Jesús is my Hero. Each day goes by to fast and sometimes I want it to slow down but really the days go by because I have learned to apply the Atonement in my life everyday. In Alma 7:11 say that Jesús Christ will take away our pains. Sometimes I feel sad of choice of others and how the world is but  I remember who I am and who has saved me from the bad things then my pain goes way!! Im truely graceful of Jesús Christ. Look never in my life thought I would be a missionary. Look where Im at. Guatemala serving a misión and feeling the love of God. My life has changed because of the Atonement. If life is hard and things are not going how we want it to go. get closer to Heavenly Father and life will be get better!!!

June 14 

Antigua as a pday of zone yesterday.

Yesterday we went to Antigua and I got to see some people and say goodbye. It was really cool to see Antigua again.

Miracles of the week. On sunday a less active family came to church and the mom came up to us and told us "Elderes I need you guys to baptize my daugther soon". So Rosalyn is getting baptized on the 26th. Same day a other less active family came to church but this family has two sons and the older son records are lost. So we need to baptized him again on the 26th. Same cool miracles and I can tell that the Lord is sending his angels down to our área and preparing people to come unto him!! Im a Little worried about something but I know with pray that will help me but I love promisión is a very blessed área!!! I have some pictures of Antigua for you guys.. Love you all!!

June 22

Well we didnt have changes yesterday. So my last 6 weeks have started. Im still focused so no worries. Im going promission the people here are great. Loving my work. Their not much to say but we have baptisms this week. Love you guys all!!! Enjoy the week. Sorry its short!! haha but I got my suit this week!!

So on Sunday we had a baptism. It was really cool. Its was really nice to see the mom of our baptism, so happy because she was less active but now we got her to activing and out of that we got a baptism too!!! Im really enjoying the happiness of others. Yesterday I read my Patriarcal blessings and I figure out that Im living a lot of what it say. That made me feel great because Im doing the lord will. Im trying to be the best. I know that Jesús Christ lives and he is my friend. I love Guatemala with all my heart and I have a lot of Friends here. enjoy the pictures.

May 11 

Transfer info. Im not in Solola anymore!! Im not a Zone leader anymore either!! Im in The área Promisión in Villa Nueva!! Enjoying my last área!!! Im loving this place, I think is the best place to end the misión strong!! My new companion is Elder Bados from Honduras!!!! He is a great Elder yesterday in Transfers President Markham told me Elder Bados children with remember me. Thats my goal that Elder Bados children with remember me!! We have awesome people we are teaching. I love my new área and the Elders and sisters in the zone Villa Nueva!!! Im going to finish my misión on fire!! Im giving all I have to finish stronger!!! I love it and for the rest of my time I will come home very tried and happy!!! Goodbye

May 17 

This week was really great!!! My first week Her in Ward Promisión and we got to baptize a PF. It was really cool!! I felt the love of the Ward and I can trust them and them at me!!! WE are working really hard her with the members and its awesome!! I can feel the unity that we had as a zone in Villla Nueva!! I love my liders and they are a grreat example to me!!! May 24

Another week of the life in the city of Villa Nueva. Yesterday we had zone pday. My body hurts a Little. We played a lot of Basketball and I give thanks to Heavenly Father that he sent me to Sololá and it was a very hilly área that my legs got strong and I can jump pretty high now hahah. 

Pday was fun and I went to Wal-Mart yesterday too!! I love in the misión!! The members are really cool!! I learned to love them!! The misión is the best thing!! Im so different because of the Atonement of Jesús Christ!! Love ya all  

May 31

This week had been really awesome. We are teaching a member less-active and her daughters Her name is Maricela and she a cool mom. We were preparing her daugther to get baptized. At first was a Little hard. One night we get a call from President Markham asking us something about them. I dont remember but He told us, he would come to visit them with us. Friday came and we went to pick him up at the stake center in Villa Nueva and we found him eating food. He got us some food too!! When we got to the house of Maricela. She was there and two of her daugthers Lindsey and Emily. I dont know how to explain that visit but it was the most spiritual visit we had. Maricela knew the importantces of getting her daugthers baptized!! So we finished at night and baptism date set!! The next day was the interviews and she couldnt make it!! I was starting to be upset. Sunday morning we had the interviews and after church. We baptized them. Yesterday we went to visit them and they were really happy and Maricela is happier with all her problems but she is one happy mom!!! That was my week and I love it!!!

April 19

Another week in Solola!!! Tomorrow we have interviews with President!! Im really excited for it!!!! Yesterday we had a great pday My companion Elder Daybell and I with the Elders from Panajchel went shopping. I bought gifts for my family. Hopefully my sisters and mom like their gifts!! I bought myself the coolest pants. These pants are made in Santiago Atitlan!!! So around the lake Atitlan the dressing of men and women are way different. I really like the pants from Santiago Atitlan and I bought them!!! I thought it was cool story!! Going back to the missionary work in solola!! Its going really well. We are teaching two families and they are progressing really well!!! Soon we will have them in the water!!! So im really exctied for the work that is going on there!! Im happy to be in the mountains for Solola!! I love the view of the lake and the the cities around it!!! Every night I can see the areas of the missionaries in zone!! Love you guys all!! Dont worry I have pictures of the pants of Santiago Atitlan!!! 

April 26

Crazy week!! A lot of work was done!! Three days in a row of just division!! Great time to work with all the Elderes of the zone and my leaders!!! Something really awesome a learned was the importance of the Book of Mormon!!! Anyone that is investaging the church needs to know if this book is true!!! Main Goal is that people need to know the Book of Mormon is true!! I invite you guys to read and give a book of Mormon away this week but be clear on how you explain the book!! The most importante thing is dont have fear when you do it!! Your helping blessing someone else live and someday they will give thanks for your sharing the gosple!! Love ya guys 

April 12

Solola is doing well!!! Yesterday we had zone pday and we went to play soccer. Im really tried haha!! Yesterday we also saw a volcano go off from really far away!!! It was really cool. Go back to the spiritual part of the week!!  This week was pretty good and bad but I did learn something. So it does not matter how bad a day go or what. We can still change someone to come unto christ. On Sunday during our 3 branch meeting. I was thinking a lot of the the hearts Elder Daybell and I have touched. Some of these children of Heavenly Father did the change and follow the spirit. We had a really cool lesson yesterday. We vistied a miember that his wife not a member. He need to do some changes before anything. I know that Heavenly Father puts us in the path of who needs. We did not know why we had to go visit him but we did and know we had set some goals for him. Its awesome to be a missionaries!! I love it!! I love my area even that its full of huge hills haha but I really love it!!! I have so much joy in my life and I want to share with you guys but sorry I can not right because my joy goes to my people here in Solola and the zone to keep the missionaries going with joy and love!!! hahha Love you guys have a great week! April 5

This week was the bomb. En la Conferencia yo estaba muy feliz por todos que compartieron. La Revelación que recive para la zona y para mi vida era calidad. Im really happy to see my last conferencia in the mission it was very spiritual. My mission president invites to take 3 questions and I took 4 and got a answer to all my question 3 of them were for the zone that they are apply now and one for my personal life!! I learned a lot. The missionary work is going great!! Im really happy and tried too my body is getting tried faster but that ok!!! In the district Pana my district leader is one of my best friend now. he is from Roy Utah and his name is Elder Fulmer!!! We started the mission together and through the time we have become great friends. Im really happy to have great friends here in the zone. Elder Garica is awesome too!! WE are a group of brothers and friends!! I got a picture from some in my ward and I want to share this picture of the youth in my home ward!! hahaha  

March 30

Updates in Solola. Tranfers were yesterday. I got a new companion. Elder Daybell from Utah!!! So excited to work with him. My last companion Elder Thompson got open a new area in the zone haha so he is not far away. Elder Thompson companion is my son from Antigua Elder Coy!!! Its awesome. The zone Solola is on fire right now!! New missionaries and new type of energy flow on the missionaries!! We are all pumped for this change!! We are so excited to see the miracles Im so happy!!! Time is fly by but I dont care because there is to much work to go!!! So happy the mission Guatemala city central is where Heavenly Father wants me and Im not done yet time is cutting close but Im not done yet. Giving all I have and more!!! Have a great week!! March 22

Another awesome week! We had been working like animals here in Solola. We are pumping the zone up and the zone is doing really well!! Love it!! We had seen a lot of the lords help!! I know Heavenly father has sent his angels to prepare the people!! We have seen many hearts open up!! Its really great!! We had to give some talks on Sunday but my companion forgot to me, so we were still prepared in the last minute but the importante thing is that the members felt the spirt of the lord through our talks!!! I love working in three branches, Its a so different and really cool!! We are running everywhere and our cell phone rings a lot. Haha A lot of work and having fun at the same time!! Elder Thompson is my favorite companions! We have a great friendship!! Im so happy with all we are doing for the lord and the missionaries in the zone!! My faith is strong and everyday it gets stronger and I love enjoying the spirit everyday! I love you guys all and Have a great week! I want to stay in Solola for the rest of my mission!!! 

March 15

 Another great week!! I tell you guys  something really cool!! My Companion Elder Thompson wants to be a great looking missionary!! He is doing some crazy work outs haha but the great thing is that Im lossing more weight!! Last week we had division and We went up to Santiago Atitlan. Great time there with the Elderes!! Great missionaries!! Those division helped me understand that I am a example to the zona and the good thing is that they love me!! I have a great realtionship with the zona. So Im really happy!! We have some baptism coming up!! You guys will see the pictures soon!!! I love the mission!! have a great week!!! Love you guys!!! 

March 8

March Madness here in Solola is going really well!! This week we had district conference and its was really great on Sunday we have 10 investigadores in church that was really great. We had new converts meeting and President Markham ask everyone to say their name and how long has been a member!! I was the last one to get up and my mission president. President Markham told me to tell my story and it was cool but the coolest part was. In the meeting some white friends were their they came down from utah!! You believe it but one of them is from my stake at home!! He told me he is the high counsler to my ward!! He told me I cant say his name because when he gives his next talk in my home ward. He was going to speak about my time in Solola!!! It was awesome to see someone from my stake!! We went to Antigua yesterday. I was bored haha it was great and I got car sick too!!! We are seeing all of miracles!!! 

March 1

Well this week was our conference with Elder Duncan. He is a area 70! He is a very sprituallly person and his wife too!!! I know we needed that visit of them! I see the vision of the Heavenly Father of what he wants in the mission Guatemala city Central and also in the zone Solola!! That vision is really up lifting!!! Elder Thompson and I, have our zone seeing this vision and we are all spirtually up lifted!!  As a zone we are giving all we have and we all always giving more!! I dont know how to explain what I feel right now but I feel like a got set apart again and full of energy to get the work done!! There is not time to waste and its time to have more families in the church and more Elderes and missionaries going to serve with all their hearts, mind, and Strength!! The mission is the best!!!!! We are doing new things and some dont work but others do!!! Like I said i dont know how to explain my feelings right now!! March madness starts today in Zona Solola!! WE are so Excited to be here and giving all we have!!!!! Have a great week aand I love you guys!!! I LOVE THE MISSION!!!! ZONA SOLOLA IS THE BEST AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!! 

February 23

Another week has gone by to fast!!! Solola is awesome!!! I love it!!! I travel a lot.. We have 3 branches. So we have a huge area!!! It been really great!!! I have never been so tried in my whole mission like now but its a blessing!!! So I learned to give correction with love!! Our rentenion helper of the district forgot to call us and ask about our converts for the second time!!! It was great to give some correction with love. Our retenion helper yesterday told the district that I gave crrection with love!! I felt better great!!! Im really happy with my calling and Im enjoying my mission more and more everyday!! Time is going by to fast but thats ok. I will give it all I have and enjoy every second of it!!! I have pictures of the Elderes and Sisters of the Zone Solola!!!   

February 17

No more Antigua for me!!! So Im in Solola where the waters of Mormon are!!! My New companion is Elder Thompson from St.Geogre Utah.  I also have a new calling!!!! Im a Zone Leader now!! Yesterday was my first day in Solola it was great!!! We have a baptism for this weekend!!! Its the most beatiful zone of the whole mission because we are in the Mountains and we get to see the coolest lake in all Guatemala!! I cant remember how to spell the name of the lake!!! Its colder in Solola then Antigua. In Solola my English wont work and my spanish is going to help me a little but we are starting our class of Kaqchikel on Thursday. Im excited to know Kaqchikel! Im already loving my new calling. I have the greatest companion ever! Im happy to be in Solola in the district Panajchel as a Zone Leader! Have a great week!!!  

February 9

I have a funny story for you guys this week!! So my foot started to really hurt a lot. I thought it was something esle and I dont remember what its called in English but I had a huge amount of die skin on my little toe! Yesterday we had a zone pday playing sports. We were playing soccer and I got kicked in my little toe. It hurt so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the sisters in the zone didnt play soccer. So they look at my foot and started to cut out the die skin but my pain was not coming for that! One of the sisters. Hna Guevara look in the middle of my toes and she found a fungus. Haha so right now Im treating my fungus haha but its was a painful time!! Sister Blancas took my camera and recorded my pain haha!! Hna Guevara and Hna Rasmussen are the best because they were not sacred to fix me haha!! Going back to the mission. We have a baptism this weekend!! Hes name is Osbin To. The work here in Antigua is going great!! Really happy to be here!!! by the way next week is TRANSFERS. So I wont be writing till Wednesday!!! Love you guys!!  

February 3

Hey everyone!!! Yesterday We went to the temple!! I was car sick again!!! Everytime we go to the temple I get car sick!! Great time in the temple!! I got many answers to my prayer!!! It was great time!!! This week has been really fun!! My learning a lot of thinks!!! I want to tell you about my favorite calling in the mission!! District leader!!! I have learned so much skill for my life and many things I had to change. All my changes been done during this wonderful calling!!!! Its so much fun!!! The sisters today gave me a toy cow!! I have learned to become a leader, a example and more important a friend to the missionaries in the district!!! I really love this mision!!! My mission is the best of the world!!! I love it!!! 

January 26

Well Hello everyone!! Another week in beatiful Antigua!! It came to pass that yesterday we had district pday and distrcit San Lucas join us too!! In the church of Antigua!!! It was a blast!!! We played soccer and Basketball!!! We all had a great time!! A lot of us got sunburnt!! My face hurts haha and I hurt my figure too!!! I got pictures dont worry!! This week we are working really hard!!! Its been a great week!! We are preparing some baptisms this week!!! We will go close the deal today!! Pase lo que Pase, Venga lo que Venga, LO AREMOS!!  The zone Antigua is doing great!!! We are all happy and excited to finish is change with many miracles!!! Im really happy to be here!! Im still loving my district!! Its nice to hear about you guys!!! Love you. And it came to pass that we will be going to the temple next week so I wont be writing till Wednesday!! Love you guys!!! January 19

This week was one of the greatest with Miracles!! This week we had 8 investagores come to church!!! We will have a baptism of a family in couple weeks!!! Im so happy to see the success of the zone Antigua!! The missionaries in the zone are all excited!! Its been a great time here!!! What a blessings to be a missionary in Antigua!! Pday was really fun yestersday!! We went to Luna de Miel!! Best food here in Antigua!! Im a happy missionary here in Guatemala city central!!! What a blessing to serve the Lord!!! Love you guys!!!

Janaury 12

Hey everyone!!! I have the best zone leaders on the mission!!! Last week they taught us about our conversion!!! This week we are seeing the blessing of being converted!! The whole zone has changed!! A big change of our hearts started and we are starting to see the many blessings!!! I love the new feelings im getting!!! I feel it in my heart and Im a more loving person now!!! Change feels great!!!! I give thanks to our Heavenly Father because he put my zone leaders in my way to teach me and feel a change of heart!!! We have the desea to change and we are doing it!! The zone Antigua is doing a big change in the mission Guatemala city central!!! My sister is suffering in my coast of El Salvador!!! She is doing great!!! I have some pictures to send of my district sisters of the zone!! Birthdays in the mission so enjoy the pictures!!! 

January 4

Another change has gone by and Im still in Antigua!! The mission is getting fun and fun!! We have a new roomate in the house from Antigua!! He is really awesome. He is from Mexico!! I have a new sister in my district too!! We are going to do a lot of changes!!! 

Today we had zone training!! My zone leaders were teaching us about conversion!! So I have some goals to grow my conversion!!! Im so happy to be here!!! Antigua is awesome. Im getting closer to God!!! I know that my Salvador lives!! That im change!! I feel great!! My mission is coming to a end but that will never stop me from sharing is Gospel to the world because I know of the blessings we all can recieve from sharing the gospel to the world!!! Please go share is Gospel to the world and bring people unto christ!!! The blessings will come and you will feel a happiness in your live!!!! I love you all!!! Elder Vega

December 29

Christmas has gone by and I feel better!! On Christmas Eve we ate to much!! In Antigua 4 elders live in the same house 1 out of 4 Elders didnt get sick for eating so much!! I WAS THE ONE THAT DIDNT GET SICK HAHA. Christmas has really great!!! I hope you guys had a great christmas!! Im so happy to be here!! We have Changes next Tuesday So I wont be writing to next Wednesday!! 

What you guys doing to grow your Faith in Jesus Christ?  

We need to have faith in every moment. Nuestra Fe no aumenta por Cantidad, Sino por Eleccion. What do we need to change this coming year to grow our faith and see miracles in 2016? I know with all my heart that faith will change us to become more christlike!! Keep on going this 2016 with faith in Christ. Dont fear to change what the lord was you to change!! I know Change is good!! I been Changing a lot lately and its for the best for me!!! Love you guys and wish you a happy new Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

December 22

When this week was really funny!! Full of ups and downs more downs haha!! This week is Christmas!!! Im going to die this week because of the food!!! haha but I leanred today in my district meeting the importance to understand the Missionary work and The Atonement!! The mission is not going to be easy but was Christ life easy! No. I learned that we will go through a lttle what Jesus felt when the atonement was getting made!! I felt that this week!! I need to change some more things and Im so happy that I have missionaries that are so loving to help!!! My district is awesome!!! Have a great christmas!!! My excited to skype with my familiy!!!
